The housing association Plus Dane Housing which manages more than 13,500 homes across Merseyside, Chesire, and Halton is on the list of the organizations that are expected to receive leading industry awards for their exemplary engagement to the community.

The association’s engagement strategy with tenants earned them a spot among those who are shortlisted for the Excellence in Tenant Engagement Award.

It is also included on the shortlisted names to be awarded the Excellence in Annual Reports award with their ‘Making A Difference‘ annual report.

The GiveGetGo Volunteering Programme, a partnership of Plus Dane and Transform Lives to provide pre-employment training courses to unemployed residences including Plus Dane tenants is also expected to receive the Excellence in Employment Skills and Training Award.

The association was nominated in three categories of the Tpas Awards which is now in its 11th year.

Plus Dane’s director of customer services Kate Jungnitz said: “Our engagement strategy is at the heart of the work we do in our communities. It is wonderful to see this new approach recognised.”
