Detectives from Widnes CID are appealing to members of the public to help trace a man who may be able to assist with their enquiries in relation to a serious incident in the town.
James Price is 23-years-old and from the Merseyside area.
He is described as white, of medium build and around 5’ 9” tall. He has brown eyes and dark brown hair.
Price was last known to be living in the Merseyside area, but he has links with a number of other places across the UK, including St Helens, Warrington, Leeds and South Yorkshire.
Detective Chief Inspector Clare Coleman said: “We are looking to speak to Price in connection with a serious incident in Widnes, in which a firearm was discharged, and it is essential that we speak to him as soon as possible.
“I would ask anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to get in touch.
“I also appeal directly to Price to contact us so that we can progress our investigation.”
Anyone with any information in relation to Price’s whereabouts is urged to contact Cheshire Constabulary immediately on 999, quoting IML 770663.
